Jessica holds an MA in Artefact Studies from University College London and a BA in Anthropology with a minor in Art History from Texas State University. She earned her Curation Certification during her BA internship at the Witte Museum in San Antonio, and is in the process of gaining her PhD in Archaeology. As of 2023, she is a Registered Professional Archaeologist in the United States. Her areas of expertise are Mesoamerican archaeology, the Roman occupation of Iberia, funerary archaeology, and artifact illustration. She now owns an archaeology candle company which educates the public on the importance of her field and the ethics of archaeology.
